New Zealand GDP Expands In Q3
(RTTNews) - Economic activity in New Zealand grew 2.6 percent for the year ending in September 2013, Statistics NZ reported Thursday.
NZ GTDP was up 1.4% for the third quarter, which was the largest quarterly increase since the December 2009 quarter.
Statistics NZ said strong activity in the dairy industry sent the agriculture sector growth to a 17 percent gain, the biggest in 25 years.
Statistics NZ said dairy product manufacturing also increased this quarter, which contributed to a 1.5 percent rise in total manufacturing.
