SmartMetric Shipping Cards to Distributors for Card Lamination and Customer Personalization

SmartMetric, Inc. (OTCQB: SMME) has begun release of its Biometric Card. The new cards have a bright "see in daylight” LED that shows green or red to provide a visual indicator of a biometric fingerprint match of the card user with the pre-stored fingerprint stored inside the card.

Lamination of the new card is being done in coordination with a number of the company’s card manufacturing distributors both in the United States and South America. Final card lamination and personalization of the company’s cards are done on demand and in coordination with various customer requirements.

SmartMetric’s distributors will be able to take the final laminated card to their respective customers as part of their sales process.

The main new features of the SmartMetric biometric card are its auto on feature that allows the card to power on without the need of a separate on switch. This allows the card’s internal fingerprint scanner to be activated the moment the user touches the card’s fingerprint sensor.

Another important feature and upgrade is the card’s internal rechargeable battery. The company, in association with its battery factory, has been able to engineer a new battery that can withstand much higher heat during the card plastic lamination process. This allows the company to use standard credit card lamination machines used in the credit card manufacturing industry.
