Prior to joining the team at Family First Foot Care, Dr. Burchfield worked at Narrows Podiatry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University, and then went on to complete his Medical degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.

To further his professional development, Dr. Burchfield is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

When not working, Dr. Burchfield volunteers his time to dog rescue organizations. He also enjoys spending time with dogs, family and friends, and dedicates this recognition to the loving memory of his parents, Hugh and Eppie.
