Shanda Games Q3 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Shanda Games Ltd. (GAME) Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of 398.9 million Chinese yuan, or $64.9 million, down from 405.2 million yuan in the same period last year.

On a per-share basis, earnings improved to 0.75 yuan from 0.73 yuan last year. On a per ADS basis, earnings were 1.50 yuan, or $0.24, compared to 1.46 yuan last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was 429.0 million yuan, or $69.9 million. On a per share basis, adjusted earnings were 0.80 yuan or $0.13.

On a per ADS basis, adjusted earnings were 1.60 yuan or $0.24. On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.23 per share for the quarter.

Revenues totaled 1.12 billion yuan, or $182.9 million, up 3.3 percent from 1.09 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $183.67 million.
