Minister Lebouthillier Visits Espace René-Lévesque in New Carlisle
The Government of Canada highlights its support for the creation of Espace René-Lévesque
NEW CARLISLE, QC, July 18, 2018 /CNW/ - Today the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of National Revenue and Member of Parliament (Gaspésie–Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine) highlighted a Government of Canada investment of $750,000 to help create Espace René-Lévesque in New Carlisle. Minister Lebouthillier made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism.
This funding, granted under the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund, was used for the development of Espace René-Lévesque, a commemorative site in honour of the late Quebec premier René Lévesque.
