Martin Larose named Vice President, General Manager of Nova Bus

SAINT-EUSTACHE, QC, Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Nova Bus is proud to announce the appointment of Martin Larose as the company's Vice President and General Manager. He will lead the Nova Bus business line, which includes all groups that directly interface with customers, from the call for tenders to the commissioning of vehicles.

A mechanical engineer, Larose has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry; including several years in the Nova Bus organization.

"This is a natural transition for Martin as he was already responsible for a large amount of the internal management for Nova Bus; as well as management of key accounts. We are excited about Martin's new role within the organization and looking forward to the utilization of his unique leadership strengths in order to increase our focus on our customers.", said Ralph Acs, SVP Business Region Americas Volvo Buses & President Nova Bus & Prevost.

Larose intends to draw on his technical and project management experience, as well as his time spent with customers to effectively lead and support the planning, bids, project management, and product management teams under his supervision. In this new challenge, Martin Larose means to practice participative leadership, drawing on the wisdom of his team to make the right decisions.

"Nova Bus has a tremendous team that offers quality products to major high-potential markets. It is up to us to seize these opportunities to reach new heights and ensure the future of our company", Ralph Acs added.
