Martial Vincent appointed President and CEO of TCP Cable
CARIGNAN, QC, Jan. 17, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Marc April, Chairman of the Board of TCP Cable, an industry-leading manufacturer of electrical cable and harnesses, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martial Vincent to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, TCP Cable. Mr. Vincent has also acquired a minority shareholder interest in the company.
"Our company will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary in business, and we are looking to gain the expertise we need to boost our growth as we enter a pivotal stage of our development plan," Mr. April said. "We trust Martial Vincent to inject new energy into TCP Cable and help consolidate our leadership position in our industry."
A chartered professional accountant by training, Martial Vincent has more than 25 years of extensive management experience in the communications and high-tech fields. Until recently, he was CEO of Varitron, a leading electronics assembly company. He previously spent 15 years as a producer in the entertainment industry, and also held various management positions in the communications industry, including as Vice-President of Astral Media.
Mr. Vincent is very active within the business community and the transportation industry. He is Chairman of the Board of the Pôle d'excellence québécois en transport terrestre (Québec centre for excellence in ground transportation), a member of the Board of Directors of DEL (Développement économique de l'agglomération de Longueuil; the Longueuil agglomeration economic development corporation), a member of the Steering Committee of the Centre Laurent Beaudoin, associated with the Université de Sherbrooke Faculty of Administration, and a founding member, board member and treasurer of the Grappe industrielle pour les véhicules électriques et intelligents (Québec industrial cluster for electric and smart vehicles).
