IGT Issues 10th Annual Sustainability Report

LONDON, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology PLC ("IGT") (NYSE:IGT) has announced the release of its 10^th annual Sustainability Report, demonstrating its drive to create value globally, increase its socially responsible corporate citizenship, and report on its activities transparently.

This year's report has been reformatted with a chapter dedicated to IGT's stakeholder groups, including employees, customers, communities, and suppliers, with data showing IGT's 2016 achievements in generating value for each.

A vital aspect of our business, IGT employs industry best practices and applies international standards to achieve its responsible gaming objectives, including:

In 2016, IGT launched an internal web-based tool to collect environmental data from Company locations all over the world. This has systemized and harmonized data gathering, giving a more comprehensive overview of IGT's environmental performance. 

The 2016 Report applies the latest Sustainability Reporting Standards issued by Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), which are the most widespread international standards used by organizations to report their sustainability impact and performance. These standards require submission and analysis of comprehensive data regarding a wide range of corporate social responsibility indicators. In addition, independent third-party auditors EY have confirmed the reliability and completeness of the information and data presented in the report.
