EuroSpine 2016: Safe Orthopaedics invites five highly regarded surgeons to share their experiences of the benefits of its modular technologies
Regulatory News:
SAFE ORTHOPAEDICS (Paris:SAFOR) (FR0012452746 – SAFOR), a company offering innovative ranges of sterile implants combined with their single-use instruments for back surgery, is announcing a stronger presence at this year’s EuroSpine Congress, which will be held in Berlin from October 5 to 7, 2016.
At this conference attended by world’s top experts in back surgery, five surgeons will share their experiences of the benefits of Safe Orthopaedics’ technology for MIS surgeries.
The five talks will be hosted by Safe Orthopaedics on its stand (booth no. 131):
Wednesday, October 5, 2016, 10.05am to 10.20am:
Dr. N. Craig, surgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Woodend Hospital in the United Kingdom, will give a presentation entitled: Availability of sterile and single use platforms
From a surgeon’s perspective, Safe Orthopaedics’ technology minimizes the logistics time of the instrumentation cycle and increases availability for better patient care.
Wednesday, October 5, 2016, 3.25pm to 3.40pm:
Dr. J. Franke, a surgeon at Klinikum Dortmund in Germany, will give a presentation entitled: Cypress: The Modular Anchorage Screw, for Degenerative Surgeries
The Cypress screw dedicated to degenerative conditions allows a per-operative choice of surgical approach (MIS or open) and strengthens anchorage through secure cement injection.
Thursday, October 6, 2016, 10.05am to 10.20am:
Prof. J.-C. Le Huec, Chief of the Spinal Orthopedics-Traumatology unit at Bordeaux University Hospital, will give a presentation entitled: Walnut: The Modular Fixation Cervical Cage
How its pre-loaded screws and its intuitive instrumentation make Safe Orthopaedics’ new cervical cage an easy-to-use product that provides an excellent anatomical fixation.
Thursday, October 6, 2016, 3.25pm to 3.40pm:
Dr. S. Van Gaalen, a surgeon at Diakonessenhuis in Utrecht (Netherlands), will give a presentation entitled: Oak: The Percutaneous Auto-Correction Screw, for Trauma Surgeries
Safe Orthopaedics’ patented Oak screw technology combines the benefits for MIS surgery of the efficiency of monoaxial screws with the ease of use of polyaxial screws.
Friday, October 7, 2016, 10.05am to 10.20am:
Dr. R. Cincu, surgeon at Santa Lucia University General Hospital in Communidad (Spain), will give a presentation entitled: Modularity of Safe Orthopaedics’ technology
Safe Orthopaedics’ ancillary platforms give surgeons a per-operative choice of approach. While trauma surgery has already adopted the percutaneous approach, the MIS guidance for degenerative conditions requires appropriate and easier-to-use equipment, and that is precisely what Safe Orthopaedics offers.
Pierre Dumouchel, Chief Executive Officer of Safe Orthopaedics, said: "We are both proud and excited to see the growing interest among surgeons in Safe Orthopaedics, as reflected by these talks. By sharing their experiences of our products, they will demonstrate the relevance of our innovations firmly anchoring single-use instruments and MIS surgery at the heart of surgical practice.”
