EQT Corp Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - EQT Corporation (EQT), Thursday reported a surge in the third-quarter net income, that exceeded the Street estimates, on increase in revenues.

Net income attributable to EQT Corporation was $88.2 million or $0.58 per share, compared with $31.8 million or $0.21 per share last year.

On average, sixteen analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings per share of $0.49for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Net operating revenues increased to $506.5 million, from prior year's $364.05 million. Analysts had expected the company to generate revenues of $500.13 million.

Separately, EQT Midstream Partners, LP (EQM), an EQT Corporation company, reported net income of $26.9 million or $0.60 per share, compared with $13.7 million or $0.40 per share last year. Total operating revenues increased to $45.8 million, from $34.4 million a year ago.

Analysts expected the EQT Midstream Partners to report earnings of $0.49 per share, on revenues of $46.83 million.
