Dillard's Contributes to Ronald McDonald House Charities

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2005--This year Dillard's (NYSE: DDS) is proud to announce that it will make a contribution to Ronald McDonald House Charities(R) as a result of its 2004 "Sing a Song of Christmas" CD. Dillard's produced a CD with ten holiday favorites performed by artists ranging from Lee Ann Womack to Lionel Hampton. The CD was sold in all 329 Dillard's stores as well as on line. As in years past, the company will be donating all proceeds from the CD sales to Ronald McDonald Houses serving local communities.
    This year Dillard's raised $182,790 for the program. With this year's contribution Dillard's has now donated over $3.6 million to Ronald McDonald Houses over the past 11 years. Denise Mahaffy vice president of advertising for Dillard's, said, "We are proud of our long standing association with Ronald McDonald House Charities and the important work they do. This has been a great team effort by the Ronald McDonald House staff, who are so generous with their time, Dillard's customers, employees and the many radio, television and newspaper partners who generously assisted in the promotion."
