Update on Creditor Support Letters for Steinhoff Europe AG ("SEAG") and Steinhoff Finance Holding GmbH ("SFH")

Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. (the "Company") together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") refers to its announcements on 7 June and 12 June 2018 relating to the Original Support Letters and the Amended Support Letters (as defined in the announcement dated 12 June 2018) (together, the "Support Letters").

Lucid Issuer Services Limited ("Lucid") has been appointed by SEAG and SFH to act as calculation agent in respect of the consent fee due under the Original Support Letters (the "June Consent Fee") and the Amended Support Letters (the "July Consent Fee" and together with the June Consent Fee, the "Consent Fees"), in each case payable to those financial creditors of SEAG and SFH who were party to the respective Support Letters prior to the relevant deadlines stipulated thereunder ("Original Parties").

In order for Lucid to compile a comprehensive record of entitlements to Consent Fees, we request that each Original Party re-confirms to Lucid the nominal amounts (in the original currency) of the SEAG and/or SFHG debt per financial instrument which were beneficially owned by the Original Party as at the date and time at which they became party to the relevant Support Letter(s). Creditors are kindly requested to make this confirmation prior to 5pm (UK) on Thursday 8 November 2018 by logging on to the following website hosted by Lucid https://forms.lucid-is.com/orbeon/fr/steinhoff/support-letter/new

Where there has been any subsequent transfer of Consent Fee entitlements (either by way of trading of the SEAG and/or SFH debt in the secondary market or through transfers by Original Signatories to their affiliates and/or related funds), Lucid shall be reaching out to request that such Original Signatories provide the details of any nominee now entitled to receive the Consent Fees in due course. For present purposes, therefore, we would request that only Original Signatories to the Support Letters respond and provide such information as it relates to their nominal holdings of the SEAG and/or SFH debt as at the date and time at which they became party to the letters.

Shareholders and other investors in the Company are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Group.
