Communisis Awarded Contract By Lloyds Banking Group Plc - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Personalised customer communication services provider Communisis plc (CMS.L) has been selected by Lloyds Banking Group plc or "LBG" (LLOY.L, LYG) as the outsource partner for the production of all transactional customer communications in the United Kingdom. Subject to ratification by the LBG board, the contract is expected to become effective in August 2013.

This contract was announced by the Bank to the relevant employees this week. Under the arrangements, Communisis would assume responsibility for LBG's current manufacturing sites in Copley and Crawley. The company said its full-year production volumes for these services would double on an annualised basis. Substantial revenues would be generated for Communisis over the ten-year contract term.

The implementation of the contract is planned from October 2013, with Communisis making significant commitment to the same high-speed colour digital platforms already in-use elsewhere in the company.
