China Life Insurance Names Lin Dairen President - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. said Tuesday that its board of directors has appointed Lin Dairen as the president of the company. His appointment is subject to the approval of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.

The company said that Wan Feng tendered his resignation as the president of the company. He was re-designated as a non-executive director and also elected as the vice chairman of the company, effective March 25, 2014.

Lin, born in 1958, became an executive director of the company on October 27, 2008 and served as the vice president of the company since 2003. He also served as an executive director and the president of China Life Pension Co. Ltd. since November 2006.
