Arcam receives order from German university

Arcam, listed on NASDAQ OMX, has received an order for an EBM system from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The system will be used for materials and process R&D, and will be delivered in 2014.

"Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg have worked with the EBM technology since 2005, and this is their third system. They are at the cutting edge of fundamental research into powder-based processes in general, and EBM in particular, and their work provides valuable results that help us move the technology forward”, says Magnus René, CEO of Arcam.
