Apollo Global Closes Acquisition Of CEC Entertainment - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Investment company Apollo Global Management LLC (APO) said Friday it has closed the acquisition of CEC Entertainment Inc. (CEC), the family dining and entertainment firm which operates 577 Chuck E. Cheese's stores.

The deal was effected through a tender offer followed by a merger. The tender was made at $54.00 per share.

CEC will become a privately held, wholly owned unit of affiliates of Apollo and its common stock will cease trading on the NYSE.

Excluding CEC shares tendered by notice of guaranteed delivery, a total of about 11.95 million common shares, representing nearly 68% of the outstanding shares, were tendered into and not withdrawn from the offer.
