American Brain Tumor Association Offers Worldwide Live Streaming of Annual Conference
CHICAGO, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the first time, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) will offer live streaming of its annual Patient and Family Conference entitled, "Redefining Survivorship through Science, Technology and Clinical Innovation," being held at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill. on August 4-5. Live streaming is real-time, live video footage of the event that will be broadcast to a remote audience accessing the video stream over the internet.
"Every year, we make extraordinary efforts to bring the best and brightest minds dedicated to brain tumor research, treatment and care to Chicago, and this year, we are excited to make our dynamic program and speakers accessible to a worldwide audience with a live streaming option," said Elizabeth M. Wilson, President and CEO, American Brain Tumor Association. "While the live stream audience will not be able to participate in the networking opportunities our onsite brain tumor patients and caregivers have always valued, live streaming does enable us to give more people in more places access to these renowned experts and the empowering information they provide."
By registering for this live stream event, participants will be able to view the following panel presentation discussions led by experts from top brain tumor treatment and research centers in the United States and Canada:
- Science and Survivorship panel covering:

Prior to the conference, participants registered for the live streaming will receive a URL to access to real-time presentations and a post-conference email that will include the speakers' power point presentations.
